Event Description:
Feyline, Denver NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) and Lumonics proudly present, “An Evening With The Copper Children” on Saturday June 25th, beginning at 8 p.m. at the Lumonics Light & Sound Gallery in Denver.

The Copper Children combine the story-telling lyricism of folk music with the raw, emotional honesty of soul music, while paying heed to the diversity, peace and sacredness of life. In the midst of their first national tour, the band returns to its home town of Denver for a glorious evening at Lumonics before returning to the road.

Proceeds will benefit the Responsible Use Denver Initiative which legalizes “Private Social Marijuana Clubs” in Denver for those 21 and older. Signatures are being collected to present to the City of Denver so that the ordinance will be on the ballot in November for Denver residents.

“If you’ve been by Lumonics Light & Sound Gallery, then you already know it’s unlike any other gallery in the city. Artist Dorothy Tanner sculpts amazing, impossible-to-describe works featuring light as a main component; the gallery also plays host to events that include music, meditation, Chinese Qigong, and workshops on expanding your consciousness.”
